About this site

Hiya,  my name is Kay and for several years now I have ridden, looked after my own horses and have a competed at low level events.  

I have passed my BHS Level Owners Certificates and have achieved my BHS PI, next year I am hoping to pass my Stage 3 Riding exam.

I do teach at Park Farm, which is a  local riding school, on some weekends. I wanted to carry on studying, so I have chosen to do a BSc Equine Science degree with The Open College of Equine Studies at Boxted, Suffolk.

Within the course there is a module that covers `Business and Finance` , we have to answer questions and complete assignments with a business in mind.

(Here comes my reason for doing this website!!)

I enjoy computers and the internet so I thought that designing and building a website from scratch seemed like a good idea, so with the help of my-soon-to-be husband Andy and a few weeks work this is the result.

It has been quite hard work but rewarding. We hope to manage the site ourselves and in doing so hope to answer all the questions within the module.

We hope that the website is clear to read, easy to understand and will be used by all ages.

As the website gets more established we would like to add more classifieds ,to  be able to provide more in the `Site shop` and more information and articles.
